Intel Meteor Lake Laptops See Retail Listings Ahead of Launch, Core Ultra 7 For $1600 US & Core Ultra 5 For $1400 US
The Intel Meteor Lake CPUs and the respective laptops that feature them won’t hit retail shelves until the 14th of December so these retail listings showing up more than a month prior to launch definitely come as a surprise.
There are two laptops that have been listed by the Bulgarian retailer and both models are based on Lenovo’s next-gen YOGA Pro 7 which features 32 GB of DDR5 memory & 1 TB of PCIe SSD storage. The laptops also pack a 14.5-inch 3K resolution screen with 400 nits of brightness & a 120Hz touch panel. The Core Ultra 7 model is listed with the Tidal Teal color and the Core Ultra 5 model is listed with the Luna Grey color.

Based on what we know about Intel Meteor Lake CPU specs, the Core Ultra 7 155H will feature the 6+8+2 or 16-core configuration with 22 threads running at a base clock of 3.8 GHz, a boost clock of 4.8 GHz and offering 24 MB of L3 cache with a TDP range of 28-35W. The Core Ultra 5 125H on the other hand will feature a 4+8+2 or 14-core configuration with 18 threads running at a base clock of 3.6 GHz, a boost clock of 4.5 GHz, packing 20 MB of L3 cache, and a similar TDP. Both chips will be offering the latest Arc Alchemist graphics architecture within its integrated GPU which will deliver a good set of features and a major performance uplift over Intel’s past iGPU efforts.
Coming to the prices, the Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra 7 155H CPU-powered Lenovo YOGA Pro 7 has a price of 2948 Bulgarian Lev or $1594 US while the Core Ultra 5 125H model has a listed price of 2579 Bulgarian Lev or $1395 US. These prices appearing this early are definitely preliminary and expect them to be adjusted as we get closer to launch. A previous report did suggest that the Intel Meteor Lake laptops will be very pricey, around $1500 US, so keep that in mind when thinking of buying your new laptops.
